The New Year is literally less than 5 days away!  Can you believe it?  I know everyone is quickly trying to make last minute purchases and wrap the last gifts before Christmas in a few days!  But I'm sure there is one more thing on your mind...or at least in the BACK of your mind!!  We all have probably had a few more treats, parties and extra calories packed on this December, am I right?  It seems like there are just too many temptations around this time of year.

You may be just counting down the days until the "feasting" and Christmas cookies are over.  I love this time of year, but it is definitely hard to stay on track with nutrition!

My nutrition has been consistent but not AS consistent as I would have liked. I've mastered my workouts where it now is a HABIT...my nutrition is next. I want for MY nutrition to just be a habit...It's almost there, but not 100%.

It's a NEW YEAR...Time for a NEW YOU!?!?

Merry Christmas to you all!!  I hope you have had a wonderful Holiday season with your loved ones and friends.  I love being able to wind down a little bit toward the end of the year and really spend some great time with my friends and family!

According to USA.org and Statistic Brain websites (just to name a couple), Losing Weight is at the #1 spot for people's New Year's resolutions!!  Is it YOUR #1 resolution for 2015??  Forbes.com tells us that only 8% of people achieve their new years goals!  EIGHT PERCENT!!  That's it!  Sound kind of depressing??  Well...that's about to change!!

I used to ask for a gym membership every year for Christmas.  Some times I would get it (ya know, the one from Costco that's a year membership) and sometimes I wouldn't.  But I too was always one setting these goals at the beginning of the year.  I'd go to the gym religiously for the first couple weeks... then, I would start to slow and then be sporadic...and then just kind of give up all together.  Have you ever been there before??  Do you know what was missing from those situations??  ACCOUNTABILITY!!!  I had no one holding me accountable to going to the gym and sticking to my goals.  So, I fell off the bandwagon, just like everyone else did too!

Insanity Max 30 Update!

So last week I decided to repeat week 1 of Insanity Max 30, only because when I first received the program I got 2 of one of the workouts and didn't have the Tabata Power workout.  Which, this workout was 2 days of my week.  So I wanted to do it right and the full workouts each day!  So I repeated week 1 again!!

It went really well and I had great energy going through the workouts!  Each day I pushed a little harder and made it through a little bit more!

I'm really loving this workout.  It's mentally really good for me.  I'm not one to totally push myself all the time in a workout, but the format of it makes me push harder than I typically would push myself!

Your nutrition is everything...you can't out work a poor diet!  It will catch up to you.  I've done better this week on my meal plan.  There are still flaws in it and each week I am striving for more perfection in my nutrition because I know that is what will make the biggest difference of all!

I absolutely love this program and I now I'm getting stronger throughout it! It's totally going to benefit me as we do a bunch of skiing this winter!! :)

2014 ~ New Year, New You!


It's almost 2014!!  Can you believe it?



Every new year we set our New Year's Resolutions…What's yours this year?  Have you thought about it?  Well, I've been thinking a lot about it over the last few weeks.  What do I want to accomplish this new year, how do I want to improve myself, what are my goals for health, fitness, my Beachbody business, etc.  I'm still working on some specifics, but when I get them all down I'll post them!



What is YOUR RESOLUTION?  Is it time for a CHANGE?  Are you tired of the way you are feeling and know you need to take some steps for better health this year?

NOW is your time!!  It's a NEW YEAR and time for a NEW YOU!!

On January 6th, 2014 I'll be starting a New Year, New You fitness challenge.  Take the steps NOW to be where you want to be in 60 days!!

So…What is New Year, New You Health/Fitness Challenge?

Have you ever had your New Year's Resolution be to lose weight or get healthy?  Most likely, your answer would be YES, in some way, shape or form…am I right?  No matter how much weight you have to lose, 3 pounds or 100 pounds.  I'm sure at some point in time, you have had that goal…

Did you reach that goal?  Did you stick with your resolution for more than 2 weeks?  Did you find yourself on fire the first week and slowly dwindle off motivation come the 2nd week or maybe even the 3rd week.  Then it became a game of "I'll start on Monday".

Does this sound familiar? Most likely…YES!
