Insanity Max:30 - Week 2 & 3 Women's Update, Progress Report and Meal Plan!!

Insanity Max:30 - Week 2 & 3 Women's Update, Progress Report and Meal Plan!!I've gone through a full 3 weeks now of Insanity Max:30 and I will say, this is probably my favorite workout yet!!  I really am craving it each morning and still really enjoying the workouts!  I've noticed each week I get better and max out at a later time.  Week 2 & 3 were during Christmas and New Year's weeks.  I stayed consistent, but I did miss a couple workouts in those weeks.

Let's start with week 2!  The schedule is the same for week 1 and 2...no changes!  Week 2, the Cardio Challenge kicked my butt!  I was actually about 2:30 minutes behind in my max out time than the previous week...not sure why, but o'well!!  I'll push harder each time and sometime you just have those weak days!  My favorite workouts are the Sweat Intervals and the Tabata Power.

These 2 weeks were Christmas break for my kiddos at school, so I was a little more relaxed on my time I got up and worked out.  I am typically up at 5 working out, but I did allow myself a little break and woke up more like 5:45 or 6 (I know...my husband would say that is NOT sleeping in...I seem to think it is!).  But there were some days where my kids were in the background on "vacation" playing the iPads or games!!  That's what I love about working out at home, I don't have to drag them anywhere to get my workout done for the day!!

I did take Christmas morning off...I really wanted to get up and workout, but I'll be honest...my hubby won!  He really wanted me to take a break off and sleep in a little bit, so I did!! :)  But I was back at it again the following day!! ;)

Week 3 was a little different, we got to add a different Tabata workout, Tabata Strength for Tuesdays and Thursdays!  This workout kicked my butt!  I was so sore after doing this!  I kept waiting for the break that Max:30 usually has and I started to realize that half way through the workout, there was NO break!!!  Leave it to Shaun T to throw that curve ball!!

I worked out Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of week 3 but then Thursday and Friday we were skiing in Utah as a family!  So I supplemented my workout with skiing instead.

However I have some really exciting news...SKIERS WHERE ARE YOU???  If you want to get in shape for skiing season...Oh my goodness... Max:30 was AMAZING for getting me in shape!  I wasn't sore after skiing.  I could tell a huge difference in how I felt and how I skied.  I was so much stronger and was so amazed that I wasn't sore!  It completely convinced my husband to start working out with Max:30 too!!  He was envious that I wasn't sore!!

So for my nutrition, I did so much better these 2 weeks with a few slip-ups during Christmas, but even on our trip I kept my nutrition as much in line as I could while traveling.  It wasn't impossible, just more challenging when everything isn't available!  But I managed to do it and feel great afterward!

Biggest "REWARD" so far in the Insanity Max:30 program is the strength I felt/had while I was skiing!  If you want to be whipped into shape and make it thru other activities without being so sore...this is SUCH a great workout that will do that!!!
